# the value of investing in nature = ∞

*math shows the value of protecting and restoring nature based on cost*

I'll spare you the details of the 15 stocks and the 19 flows of natural capital, the natural cap rate and [natural asset ensurance](https://binder.ensurance.app/) - I have covered it elsewhere.

Core to our work though has been: _value the priceless to protect the infinite WHILE being realistic and practical_. Frankly, I think we cracked the code. **Natural Asset Ensurance does this.**

Will do a video for [ensurance.wtf](http://ensurance.wtf) soon but this is a major breakthrough and I could not wait to share it!

Mathematical proof the value of protecting nature = ∞
=====================================================

Natural Cap Rate expresses it:

FLOWS (ESV/yr) = VALUE

STOCKS (real asset) = COST

collapse cost → 0
(no rent, no debt, no flipping, no holding nature hostage)

secure flows → ∞
(instrumental value protects infinite/priceless)

Natural Cap Rate ⇒ ∞
(if infinite is too abstract, real public goods and cash yields can be shown in both in $ and %)

### Natural Asset Ensurance Policy: ENSURED -> ENTRUST

Here are #'s on 83-Acre Wetland & Forest Southeast Savannas & Riparian Bioregion:

Clear as mud right? It's actually pretty straight forward if approached as for X cost, I/we get Y value, expressed as Z.

$$y/x = z$$

Open for private or public discussions any time on this.

### Nature is complex, not complicated.
